Air-cooled box-type chillers achieve refrigeration through the circulation of refrigerants, with the core steps as follows:
The compressor compresses the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant gas into high-temperature and high-pressure gas.
The high-temperature and high-pressure gas enters the condenser, where the fan blows air to remove heat, and the gas is condensed into medium-temperature and high-pressure liquid.
The medium-temperature and high-pressure liquid is throttled by the expansion valve and converted into a low-temperature and low-pressure gas-liquid mixture.
The gas-liquid mixture enters the evaporator and undergoes heat exchange with the water (or other coolants) that needs to be cooled. After absorbing heat, the mixture evaporates into gas; at the same time, the temperature of the chilled water decreases and the water is delivered to the demand side.
The evaporated refrigerant gas returns to the compressor again, and the cycle repeats.
