BSL Series Water cooled screw chiller

High refrigeration efficiency: The screw compressor adopts the positive displacement compression principle, featuring stable compression ratio, which makes it suitable for medium and large-scale refrigeration needs.

Precise temperature control: It can stably maintain an outlet water temperature of 7℃, meeting the constant temperature requirements of scenarios such as precision industrial production and food processing.

Stable and reliable operation: The screw compressor has a simple structure, few wearing parts, long continuous operation time, and low maintenance costs.

Strong cooling effect: It relies on a water-cooling system (equipped with a cooling tower) for heat dissipation. Its heat dissipation efficiency is higher than that of air-cooled types, making it suitable for use in high-temperature and high-humidity environments.

  • Screw Compressor: As the core power component, it compresses the refrigerant through screw meshing, increasing the refrigerant's temperature and pressure. It is the key to the equipment's efficient refrigeration.
  • Water-Cooled Condenser: It removes the heat of the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant using circulating cooling water, condensing the refrigerant into a liquid state.
  • Evaporator: The liquid refrigerant absorbs heat from the chilled water and evaporates here, reducing the temperature of the chilled water to 7℃ and completing the refrigeration process.
  • Throttling Device: It reduces the pressure of the high-pressure liquid refrigerant after condensation, preparing it for evaporation in the evaporator.

High Cooling Capacity

The structural characteristics of the screw compressor make it suitable for high cooling capacity requirements. A single unit has a wide cooling capacity range (usually several tens to several hundreds of kilowatts).

High Energy Efficiency

The operating efficiency of the screw compressor is superior to that of the reciprocating (piston) compressor. Combined with the high efficiency of water-cooled heat dissipation, the overall energy consumption is relatively low.

Stable Temperature

It can accurately control the temperature of the chilled water at around 7℃ with a small fluctuation range, meeting the process requirements for temperature precision.

Stable Operation

The screw compressor has fewer components, minimal wear, and a low failure rate, making it suitable for long-term continuous operation.

 

FAQ

Q1:What is the correct startup sequence for the chiller unit?

A1:Start the cooling tower fan and cooling water pump;Start the chilled water pump, and wait until the pipeline pressure stabilizes (usually ≥0.2MPa);Start the main chiller unit;After operation, observe for 3-5 minutes, and only put it into full-load operation after confirming that all parameters are normal.

Q2: What situations require an emergency shutdown during the operation of the chiller unit?

A2:The compressor produces abnormal noise, violent vibration, or the outer casing overheats (oil temperature ≥95℃);Abnormal refrigerant pressure (suction pressure ≤0.2MPa or ≥0.8MPa, discharge pressure ≥2.0MPa);ripping, smoking, or a burning smell in the electrical system;Severe leakage in the pipelines;A sudden drop in chilled water/cooling water flow (flow switch alarm is triggered).

Q3:How to adjust the cooling capacity of the chiller unit?

A3:Automatic adjustment: The unit is equipped with a PLC control system, which can automatically adjust the compressor loading/unloading according to the return water temperature of the chilled water to achieve stepless adjustment of cooling capacity;Manual adjustment: If a fixed cooling capacity is required, the target temperature can be set through the control panel, or the compressor loading ratio can be adjusted manually (it is recommended to keep it within the range of 10%-100%);Note: Frequent startup and shutdown should be avoided. After each shutdown, an interval of more than 3 minutes is required before restarting to protect the compressor.
